Help with PayPal Fraud

Ms Royal was easy to work with and very professional. She contacted both PayPal Credit (Symphony Bank) and PayPal to negotiate an acceptable settlement for a dispute about fraudulent charges to my accounts. Stephanie Royal went to bat for us, and won

It looked like there was no way out. Five months after a quick, easy rental, the rental company falsely accused us of non-return of the car and saddled us with a 5 digit fee. It’s much harder to prove you didn’t do something, and the company said “guilty until proven innocent.” They sent debt collectors to our homes and work, and used the pre-authorization on our credit card to bill us the entire amount directly, sinking our credit. We tried to consult with family friend lawyers, and they said there was no chance of winning the case. That’s when we called Stephanie Royal. Stephanie went to bat for us right away, and took over when we could go no further. First, she used communications from the company to show that the car had been stolen (and recovered) and stopped the flood of debt collection. Second, she advised us on communicating with our credit card company to freeze the transaction for as long as possible. She also started the process of repairing our credit. Finally, after 6 months of persistent communications, she got the rental company to reverse the original, unapproved 5 digit charge, winning us the situation with no loss and without having to go to court. Stephanie is a fighter. She whipped our opponents into shape with strongly worded, multi-media, and persistent communications. But more importantly, she was our ally. She talked us through every decision during those tough months and helped us control everything we could. Thanks to her advice I preserved my relationships with the credit card company and with my job. I’m not sure where we would be without her. Even if the situation looks impossible, I urge you to give Stephanie Royal a crack at it.

Professionalism at its best

My family and I hired Stephanie in 2018 to represent us in defense our estate. She was successful in defending the estate against an attempt to falsely extort money by filing false claims against the estate. This was a 2 year process which involved multiple hearings. Ms. Royal was diligent in her preparations and as result we prevailed. She was always available to assist whenever we had questions or concerns, She was very professional but yet personable. This was a very stressful case but with her as our attorney she helped to ease our anxieties. One of the arbitrators involved in the case commended her on efforts in defending the estate. Turned my stressful situation stressless

In all seriousness, being served a court order for a debt you can barely remember brought upon a huge amount of stress and on top of that, finding a lawyer that I could trust would have a genuine interest in helping me made it even more stressful. Stephanie was the last of a few lawyers I’d spoken too and after speaking with her I cancelled all my other consultations. A Lawyer/Friend in your Corner

We reached out to Stephanie for a dispute with a contractor and she stuck with us for 3 years while we worked it out. Stephanie was always patient and understanding, but when it came time to put the hammer down, she was ON THE BALL! When she’s on your case, Stephanie is constantly following up, reviewing documents, coming up with ideas and questions.

Since we didn’t have any experience with this sort of dispute, we had to defer to Stephanie’s advice on many occasions. She always provided honest, solid advice while willing to fulfill our wishes as well. In the end we didn’t get exactly what we wanted, but the outcome was still much better than if we didn’t have Stephanie.
